Vet the factory, not the trading page
Ask for the manufacturing address, the product range actually produced in-house, and reference customers in your region. A genuine system supplier can show the full chain — color, clear, hardener, thinner, primer, putty — because refinish chemistry is hard to fake across a whole range.
Lock pack size and price together
The classic import mistake is a price quoted per litre applied to a 4L can, or vice versa. Always confirm product + SKU + volume + packaging + currency on one line before comparing offers. SANHE quotes on exactly that basis so a 1L price can never be confused with a 4L price.
Plan cartons, not cans
Export packing for 1L color and clear coat is typically 12 cans per carton. Order quantities that fill cartons and, ideally, pallets; part-carton orders raise both unit cost and damage risk.
Documents and dangerous-goods handling
Paint and hardeners are regulated cargo. Confirm early which SKUs travel as dangerous goods, what packaging certification your freight forwarder requires, and that SDS documents are available for each SKU you ship. Sorting this before booking avoids port delays.
Size the first order for learning
A good first order covers your fastest-moving shades and one complete system (color + clear + hardener + thinner) in trial volume, so you can test sell-through and application feedback before committing to a full container.
